Update Advance Training Initiative (ATI)

DOH has notified eligible Providers of the 2018/19 and 2019/20 Advanced Training Initiative (ATI) Program. A DAL was sent to those Providers deemed eligible based on their respective 2017 and 2018 RHCF cost report data. Qualified facilities are required to complete the application using the total dollar amount from the two years. NYSHFA conducted a conference call on September 17th for eligible members regarding the application process and educational programs offered. A link will be sent to all eligible members who were not able to participate in the call. Any members who have a question regarding their facility eligibility status, should contact Carl Pucci at 518-462-4800 ext. 36.

The completed ATI application is due by Wednesday, September 25, 2019.

Capital Attestations Due

A reminder that the 2020 Capital Attestations are due Wednesday, September 25, 2019. All Providers must attest their 2020 capital rate, which was posted last month. Please refer to NYSHFA member mailing which includes the DAL and related links.

NYSHFA / NYSCAL Offers Bronze Quality Award Workshops

NYSHFA / NYSCAL will be offering two Quality Award Bronze Level Workshops in October.  These workshops will prepare your organization for applying for the AHCA / NCAL Bronze National Quality Award.   One Workshop will be held in Albany on October 29, 2019 and another in Syracuse on October 30, 2019.  The attached flyer provides details on the content of the Workshops.  An application for the Workshops is also attached.  6.0 NAB Credits have been applied for.  For more information, please contact Lisa Volk.
