AHCA/AHIMA ICD-10 Training Programs Launched

AHCA’s on-line ICD-10 training programs launched this week and members can now register and begin taking the ICD-10 trainings. Members who pre-registered for either training program have been notified that the trainings are available for use.

AHCA has partnered with the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) to offer two different on-line ICD-10 trainings – one training for coders and a shorter less intense course for non-coders. 

The Two On-Line ICD- 10 Training Programs 

  • AHCA/AHIMA ICD-10 Training for PDPM – Coder is an in-depth course designed for SNF billing staff, MDS staff, Nursing and Therapy staff, and Admissions and Discharge staff. The cost is $499 for AHCA members and $599 for non-members. 16 CNEs for nurses or 16 AHIMA CEUs for Health Information Management (HIM) professionals. 
  • AHCA/AHIMA ICD-10 Training for PDPM – Non-Coder is a four-hour course developed for individuals who need to lead a successful PDPM transition and is intended for Administrators, DONs, and other management staff.  The cost is $199 for AHCA members and $249 for non-members. Four CNEs or 4.5 NAB CEUs.
