Carl J. Pucci in Finance & Reimbursement

DOH is delaying its efforts to place providers back on the Medicaid payment lag until the next State Fiscal Year. Providers currently suspended from the lag will see no changes to their Medicaid payment schedule.

Below is the DOH notice:

Note: this notification only applies to providers that are currently approved for suspension of the Medicaid payment lag.

The Department of Health (DOH) released a notice in late December regarding the Medicaid payment lag. Given the number of provider responses DOH has decided to delay its efforts in placing providers back on the Medicaid payment lag. There will be no changes to your current Medicaid payment schedule. The Department will be evaluating all submissions and will be releasing another announcement next State Fiscal Year.
