Stephen B. Hanse, Esq., NYSHFA/NYSCAL President & CEO Announces the Appointment of Allison Gold, Esq. as Director of Policy & Reimbursement

Stephen B. Hanse, Esq. is pleased to announce that Allison Gold, Esq.  will join the NYSHFA/NYSCAL as the Director of Policy & Reimbursement.

Allie most recently served as lead counsel for health within the Counsel's Office for the New York State Senate, where she handled health budget negotiations on behalf of the Senate Majority.  Allie began working in the Counsel's Office in 2014 as a recipient of the Richard A. Wiebe Public Service Fellowship.  As counsel to the Committee on Health, she advised Senators on the entire health portfolio, as well as drafted and negotiated legislation as part of the budget process and throughout the Legislative Session. 

Prior to joining the Senate, Allie held various positions and internships at both state agencies and private sector entities, including the New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance, Office of Fair Hearings and St. Peter's Health Partners.  She received her J.D. from Albany Law School and her B.A. from the University of Vermont.
