Election of Officers - Letter of Intent Required

The election of officers to the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors for NYSHFA will take place at the general membership meeting being held at the Annual Conference & Expo on June 26, 2018 at the Hilton Westchester, Rye Brook, New York.

In accord with Article III – Election of Officers, Section 1: “The officers of the Association shall be elected at each annual convention by a majority vote of the delegates representing facility and provider members present and voting.  No officer shall be involved with any other officer in the ownership of any Facility or Provider Member or Organization in any manner set forth in Article I, Section 1(i) of these bylaws. Any persons wishing to be considered by the Nominating Committee for any office shall submit their names, in writing, to the Chair of said Committee, identifying the office for which they wish to be considered, not less than 15 days prior to the first day of annual convention.” (6/29/2000)

If you wish to run for an elected office (Chairperson, Vice-Chair, or Secretary-Treasurer), your letter of intent must be received by Friday, June 1, 2018 to be considered by the Nominating Committee on June 19, 2018.  The letter must specify which office you will be seeking and be mailed to:
