Reminder: NYS Emergency Managers to Share Healthcare Resilience Strategies for HANYS' Webinar on July 26

  • Emergency Managers from the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC) and New York City Health + Hospitals (H+H) will share their strategies to enhance resilience and prepare for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services' (CMS) emergency preparedness requirements on July 26 from 2 to 3 p.m. during a HANYS' webinar.
  • Healthcare emergency preparedness continues to undergo tremendous changes. These changes have resulted in challenges and opportunities for innovative practices. URMC will highlight its partnership between business continuity and emergency management, and H+H will share how it leverages emergency management for special pathogen preparedness.
  • During this webinar, members will have the opportunity to hear from peers representing different emergency management models and join in a discussion about how to continue improving New York State healthcare preparedness. Please register online by July 24.
