CDC Flu Recommendations
Lisa Volk and Nancy Leveille in Clinical & Quality
As you know, flu season can last through May and even into June. An annual flu vaccine is the best way to reduce the chances of getting the flu and lessen the chances of spreading it to others. When more people get vaccinated against the flu, less flu can spread through the community.
You can find helpful resources at this CDC site http://www.cdc.gov/flu/ or on the NYSHFA website under the facility resources header, under the emergency preparedness section.
