Update to Nurse Aid Training Applications and Renewals

Prometric has been evaluating their testing and application process for Nurse Aid Training. Below is the information they sent out this week to assist you with this process.

Over the last few months, Prometric has been listening to feedback from key stakeholders like you and looking for ways to improve the testing application and renewal of license process.

We receive thousands of testing/renewal applications each month, many on out-of- date versions or illegible copies of the applications. Each time Prometric receives a testing/renewal application that is missing mandatory information, is an outdated version or a photocopy (not an original printed from our website), can delay our ability to process the application in many cases by up to two weeks.

To ensure our candidates do not experience a delay in the processing of their testing/renewal application, Prometric has identified 4 easy-to-follow steps for you to remember: 

  1. ALWAYS print the most current version of the testing /renewal application from www.prometric.com/nurseaide – please DO NOT make photocopies;
  2. ALWAYS complete all required data entry fields, including signatures;
  3. ALWAYS include correct payment; and
  4. ALWAYS include proper name change documents (if applicable).


Together, we can make a difference for testing candidates and CNAs during their testing and renewal experiences by removing unnecessary stress by ensuring applications are submitted correctly.
