Update on PRI/Screen Training

Author: Lisa Volk and Nancy Leveille* Published in Clinical & Quality

H/C PRI and Screen Training and Certification Program will continue to be administered by the SUNY at Albany School of Public Health in 2016-17. The School of Public Health website states that training will resume this fall. However, training sessions have already begun. Training slots have been filled based on the School of Public Health’s direct outreach to individuals on the waitlist. The School of Public Health has advised that the number of individuals on the waitlist will fill the trainings initially planned for 2016-17; however, additional training may be scheduled. The School of Public Health is continuing to maintain the waitlist should openings become available. If you have facility staff that is in need of training and would like to be added to the waitlist, they should send an e-mail to nysrhcfassess@albany.edu. In an effort to accommodate the high demand, online H/C PRI training will be available in the spring of 2017. The link to the website is http://www.albany.edu/sph/cphce/pri-screen.shtml.
