The Committee process is a vital part of the NYSFHA organizational structure allowing for a broad range of ideas and input from our membership. We welcome your participation on one or more of the following Committees during 2016 – 2017. 

          C.A.R.E*.                                    Ethics & Grievance

          Clinical & Quality Services             Legal Action

          Constitution & ByLaws                   Legislative*

          Convention                                  Membership Marketing & Public Relations

          Education                                    Payment for Services*

          (*selected by District Presidents)


Please review the attached Committee Descriptions and Committee/Task Force Policy for details of service.

When Committee Meetings Are Held:
 

  • Meetings are usually held on a quarterly basis via conference call and/or at regional video conference sites including the NYSHFA office in Albany.
  • Meetings are typically held between the hours of 10:30 – 12:30.


To Participate on a Committee – respond by August 18, 2016:
 

  • The C.A.R.E, Legislative and Payment for Services Committees are selected by District Presidents. If you have interest in serving on one of these committees, please contact your District President.
  • Current committee members are asked to contact their District President directly to confirm interest in continuing as a committee member.
  • Newly interested committee members are encouraged to contact their District President or email lrobertson@nyshfa.org to express your interest by August 18, 2016
