We are pleased to announce the call for applications for the 2016 Nurse Educator Program to be held May 18-19 and June 22-23 this year. This four day program is offered free of charge as part of the Foundation for Quality Care’s Departments of Health and Labor Health Workforce Retraining Initiative Grant. (Attendees are responsible for their travel costs and meals.)  The program is open to RN staff educators in skilled nursing facilities across most of New York (see brochure for qualifying counties as determined by the grant) and is being held at SUNY Polytechnic Institute (formerly SUNYIT) in Utica, New York. This course is accepted by New York State as a qualifying “approved Train the Trainer course” for Nurse Aide Training Programs. This course is limited to 20 participants.
