Scott Jackson CMP in Education

Join us on October 21, 2015 for "Effective Infection Prevention and Control Program:  Improve Quality of Care and Reduce Hospital Re-Admissions" audio conference from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm presented by Amy Lee, Coretactics.

There is no shortage of new germs and regulatory changes to keep healthcare workers on their toes.  This session will include a review of current infection control standards, isolation/outbreak control, communicable disease reporting guidelines, best practices and utilization of a QAPI approach based on data driven outcomes.  This program will help guide your organization to establish an effective Infection Prevention and Control Program, improve quality of care and reduce hospital re-admissions.

In addition, this session will help you become familiar with proposed changes to the Requirements of Participation for Long-Term Care Facilities (Proposed Rule) related to infection control and an antibiotic stewardship program under §483.80.  Understand how this will impact your operations and current systems for preventing, identifying, reporting, investigating and controlling infections and communicable diseases for residents, staff, volunteers, visitors and other individuals providing services to your facility.
