Improving Warfarin Safety in Long Term Care Manuscript Published

A manuscript based on a research study conducted by the Foundation for Quality Care and IPRO to assess the impact of a multidisciplinary warfarin safety intervention on objective quality measurements in 12 long term care facilities in NYS was published this month in The Consultant Pharmacist®, Volume 29, Number 7, July 2014, pp. 453-468(16).  The following study team members authored the manuscript: Darren Triller, Susan Wymer, Karen Morris, Gayle Farman, and Anne Myrka. Funding for the study was provided by Medline Industries, Inc. “Prevention Above All” Discovery Grants Program.
